1840s Motto Plate - Conscience is a terror

At No.4 we have been incredibly lucky to source the most beautiful 1840’s Motto Plates. These are extremely hard to find and are stunning. This plate is printed with the phrase 'Conscience is a terror to the wicked but a comfort to good men.' This little plat has a daisy edge to the plate which is rare of this size!
