How incredible is this antique picnic oval ironstone box?
This beautiful box is just so beautiful and unlike anything we have seen before. It was probably from a larger 1920s picnic set but we had to rescue this beautiful box and with its original metal lid. Sadly this box does have some imperfections with some rusting patches to the metal lid, creating staining to the ironstone and a short hairline on the rim as well as some crazing but we would say it is in good condition for its age.
